Hailing from Jamaica, chef Kareem Anguin is a seasoned chef who was raised cooking in his families island kitchens...

Kareem graduated from the Johnson and Wales University reknown Culinary Arts program, and he honed his craft while working jobs opening the new J.W. Marriott Hotel on Brickell Avenue, and manning the stoves at Pescado in Coral Gables where he developed his strong and unique international seafood cooking foundation.

Chef Anguin traveled extensivly with the Oceanaire, opening units in Charlotte and Houston before opening the Miami Oceanaire in 2006. Kareem has quickly accelerated through the ranks developing his distinctive approach to local Florida seafood along the way.
